Hi guys
For a few years I have been searching for possible cures for accutane induced side effects.
Particularly with regards to symptoms like : Depression , fatigue , disorientation , dizziness , muscle pain and headaches ; I have found the drug Trepilene (Amitryptilene) helps a lot. It increases the concentration of Dopamine , Serotonin and Noradrenalin in the brain , all of these neurotransmitters seem to be affected by Roaccutane/ acutane. The dosage that helps me is 5-10mg 3xday. Please consult a specialist medical doctor before commencing treatment.
Thyroid hormone replacement also seem to help according to circumstantial evidence. Doses in the range of 50microgram 2xday seem to help. Before starting treatment have your Thyroid function tested (TSH , free T3,T4 ) and consult a specialist physician. Many of the above mentioned symptoms can be associated with Hypothyroidism and other symptoms like abnormal menstruation , dry skin ,hair loss etc.
I am not a medical doctor so please consult a physician and preferably a specialist before commencing treatment.
God bless PS You guys are welcome to post comments on the above mentioned.

Taking thyroid hormone replacement may be helpful and I did wonder if taking the active form of vitamin A and D might also be beneficial. Since the body has the lost the ability to convert vitamin A and D to their active forms (if I understood the studies properly) then perhaps taking the active form if this is possible, might also help. Although if the receptors are not sensitive to it then perhaps not. I've been researching different therapies for a while in an attempt to find a cure to roaccutane's side effects and it seems that there is a therapy called Field Control Therapy which claims to repair damaged DNA and detoxify the body. It apparently has worked very well for many people where other therapies have failed, although probably the toxin it is commonly used for is mercury (which also alters DNA as does roaccutane).
